Braves Want To Trade For Red Sox’s Jackie Bradley

Atlanta Braves Hat

Atlanta Braves want to trade for Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley.

One look at the Boston Red Sox’s roster and it’s pretty clear they’re overstocked with outfield talent. Now, some might argue over which players belong on the Red Sox’s roster and who should be in the minor leagues, but there’s no denying they have an influx out outfielders.

Knowing that, the Atlanta Braves wouldn’t mind alleviating that log jam. That’s the word from famed baseball scribe Peter Gammons who says the Braves are ‘strongly interested’ in Jackie Bradley Jr.

When the Red Sox know the health and the predictable production of all their outfielders this spring, they may well make a trade or two; the Braves have called and made it clear they have strong interest in Jackie Bradley, but that is a post St. Patrick’s Day discussion.

It’s difficult to know what type of price tag the Red Sox would put on Bradley, especially given their influx out outfielders.

At just 24-years-old, you’d think Boston would be hesitant to give up on the centerfielder but perhaps the Red Sox could obtain additional minor league talent putting themselves in a better position to nab Cole Hamels in a trade with the Phillies.

Given that, it should be an interesting few weeks.
